This control is developed on the basis of SiC power module. When compared with conventional IGBT power modules, it features higher switching speed, lower switching loss, lower on-loss at light duty, improved control performance and outstanding NVH characters, thus achieving a maximum electric control efficiency of 99.8%.
The power module of the control comprises several SiC chips in parallel arrangement and is connected to the radiator via the copper board, effectively lowering the chip temperature and increasing power density. Thanks to the modular design, the chips can be grouped and readjusted according to specific requirements and thus developed and tested side by side. The entire system is more flexible to adapt to SiC devices from different suppliers, and enjoys a great advantage in mass application, higher in production efficiency and lower in cost.
Low endurance and time-consuming replenishment have always been two major headaches to NEV owners and makers. Where lies the solution to these problems? Increase the battery endurance mileage for the one, and accelerate the charging speed for the other. Hence, 800V high-voltage SiC platform. It effectively boosts the charging speed, improves the running efficiency of the vehicle, and adds more endurance mileage with the same battery capacity, relieving the NEV owners of their anxiety of mileage. Oswell 800V high-voltage SiC 3-in-1 powertrain is the solution to automakers.
Statistics show that more than 20 auto brands in the world have launched or plan to launch 800V high-voltage systems, and such automakers as BYD, Geely, Audi, GM, Xpeng, Li Auto and Neta have all adopted high-voltage systems to boost their charging speed.

According to Yole prediction, the global SiC power device market in 2021-2027 is expected to grow from 1.09 billion dollars to 6.297 billion dollars with a CAGR of 34%.Where, the automotive grade market is the most important application scenario for SiC, and is expected to grow from 685 million dollars in 2021 to 4.986 billion dollars in 2027.
